Announcement of Winners and Awarding of Prizes
The winners will be announced at the Opening of Corrugated Lines 2021 on Friday, 30th July 2021 at the Pearl Luggers. The winner of First Prize agrees to having their chapter, bio and photo published on the Backroom Press website shortly after the festival.
First, second and third prizes will be awarded. Prizes donated by Backroom Press, Magabala Books, and Kimberley Bookshop.
The three judges have provided the following guidance on what they will be looking for:
- The final chapter must be consistent with the content of the previous nine chapters.
- The chapter must be well-written, in good, flowing English
- There must be a logical resolution to the mystery of the Theft of the Pearl.
- We are looking for a good, dramatic ending.
The judges’ decision is final.
